Track C3, DLB, is listed on hype sticker and as track 9 both side C and D labels. It does actually play on both sides, but on side D, it is more of an intro into "Hourglass" and has no banding separating it from the next track.

Side D has a locked groove which repeats the last few seconds of “Get The Lead Out”.

Includes download card and insert containing credits and photograph.

Eat the Elephant is the fourth studio album by American rock band A Perfect Circle. It is their first album release in fourteen years, after 2004's Emotive. While early work on new material traces back to as early as 2008, years of slow progress would ensue due to issues between the band's chief music writers, frontman Maynard James Keenan and guitarist Billy Howerdel, largely stemming from their commitments to other projects and inability to come to an agreement on the direction to take the band. A Perfect Circle - Disillusioned. Although Im extremely excited to finally be completing this album after a 14-year hiatus, explains Keenan, Im actually more excited that its intentional release date is serving a greater purpose. The 20th of April is Carina Rounds birthday. She is a dear friend who is extremely difficult to shop for. Pressure off. Of course, I must also note that the potheads are gonna be thrilled that this album comes out on 4-20. A Perfect Circle Eat The Elephant album review. By Eleanor Goodman 19 April 2018. Formed by Tool frontman Maynard James Keenan and guitarist Billy Howerdel at the turn of the millennium, A Perfect Circle released three albums of expansive alt-metal. While they never quite reached the monumental heights of Maynards other band, they drew a strong following thanks to pointed lyrics swathed in warm melodies borrowed from 90s rock. The singer crafted Eat the Elephant, A Perfect Circles first record in 14 years, according to the same principles as his self-run winery and restaurant in rural Arizona: time, investment, focus, presence. In a recent Revolver interview, Keenan compared himself to an Italian mother cooking up family dinner slowly and painstakingly, hungry children be damned. Renewed focus, alongside assistance from music producer Dave Sardy, helped propel the b. Album 2018 12 Songs. Eat the Elephant is thoughtful and brooding, but still heavy as ever tracks like TalkTalk would fit right in on Thirteenth Step. Harps and horns make slow-burning The Contrarian frighteningly ominous, and So Long, and Thanks for All the Fish sounds so uplifting its unsettling-but its lyrics reveal a sardonic ode to modern life, while lamenting the loss of David Bowie and other legends. After 14 years of silence, alt-metal supergroup A Perfect Circle returned with Eat the Elephant. Previously active on 2004's antiwar eMOTIVe - when the U. was embroiled in a different state of social upheaval - they re-emerged in 2018 at another pivotal time with just as much to say

A fantastic A Perfect Circle album. My LPs have no sound quality issues in the quiet sections.
Love this album, probably the best in the APC discography.
My copy unfortunately has significant surface noise despite cleaning both record and stylus. Especially in silent parts. Other than that, great album.
Great record terrible pressing. Lots of surface noise. I big waste of a Chris Bellman mastering. I also purchased the the Red and Blue pressing, but I encountered the same problem. What a shame.
Here's a video I made of the locked groove on the US release in case there is more confusion: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8sGnabceTfM
Last track is not complete, does anyone have same issue? Can´t believe how records are made now a days
It has a locked groove that repeats "Get the lead out" indefinitely until you lift the stylus.
What do you mean not complete? It is on my copy.
I keep reading stuff about "THis record has a lockd groove" yet mine doesn't. I don't even mean like that my record "skips" locked grooves. Like my needle stays on a locked groove until I pick the needle up but it just goes to the inner grooves like it wouldn't.
Too much piano!!! :( I like some of the tracks but there are too many bland ones.
I wasn't expecting Mer De Noms Part 2. That would be asking too much. But this is not good. A few cool tracks and a lot of nonsense. Jaw dropping levels of dull. The subject matter of "Disillusioned" is enough to make me gag. Yuck. We get it. You don't like society.
I have the same fear. It will be a terrible day if this 3rd grade level of social commentary bleeds into a Tool album.
Agree completely. There are a few cool tracks but overall this is just bad. I would expect a song like Disillusioned from Puscifer, but certainly not APC. I hope this isn't indicative of the upcoming Tool material.
This is not my album. Sounds good but its to boring for my. Very different to the other both albums.
I have two copies and both have very noisy/distorted sound on track C1. Ordered from amazon.de
I don't care about the cover I just love the band. This is a great record!
Right. Stupit cover! This is not like the others or in style like the others.
Red and Blue vinyl up for preorder at store.aperfectcircle.com (not out till July).
I actually kind of like the cover art..... The album is fantastic though.
I don't understand how they use such awful cover art for a beautiful sounding album like this. Like made by a 7 years old... sorry.
Is the black vinyl pressed by GZ Media? Just like the white one?
Amazing album but the sleeve which is upside down, pfff worst sleeve ever
Its a comment you cheesefart, not a review.. do you understand the word comment?!
It's a comment section, let him post his comments, please.
Why you leave this coment.Discogs is a database and not twitter or something same.
worst cover art ever. love this band but that is just horrible.
agreed on this. cover art is really lacking quality here.
what's so bad about it? i think it's a pretty cool looking cover.
Agreed, this is a juvenile cover. Who signed off on this ridiculously cheesy cover “art”? I sure hope the new Tool cover art isn’t so lame.
volumegold worst cover art ever. love this band but that is just horrible. Naa, it's all good. Made me laugh - seems to fit the theme!
