But nah, Big Bear is justBut nah, Big Bear is just. doin thangs. This ingenuous twist causes the cover to double the shock of viewing a bear wearing shades and a bathrobe. Just when you think youve seen it all, BOOM Big Bear hits you with another curveball. Overall, this is a fascinating piece of art with many intricate layers of artistic statement for the viewer to unravel. Big Bear clearly understands that the function of art is to challenge the viewer, which he does, not only on initial viewing but in critical viewing as well. Boy, was I wrong. Of course, this doesn't mean much. Alongside many No Limit rappers, Three 6 Mafia side projects, and various Pen & Pixel clients, Big Bear is one of many 90's southern rappers whom's album sales took a hit from atrocioushysterical album covers. Big Bear's career took off after this. His sophomore smash Doin' More Thangs was just banger after banger. Sad to see him leave the game for so long as he was pursing his acting career, but I can't fault him for wanting to do other thangs.
